Pagedata Plugins

Pagedata plugins are plugins that store page related data in the file pagedata.php. Two of these plugins are already included in the CMSimple_XH download: meta_tags and page_params.

Pagedata plugins are not configured via plugin admin,
but via tabs above the editor toolbar.

The Plugin "page_params"

Via page_params the following page properties can be set for every single page:

  • Alternative heading (differing from the heading in the menu) - yes / no / text
  • Publish the page? - yes / no
  • Show the page in the menu? - yes / no
  • Alternative template for this page? - selectbox
  • Show last edit of the page? yes / no
  • Redirect page? - yes / no / URL

Clicking on the tab “Page” (above the editor toolbar) opens the plugin menu. Now settings can be changed. Clicking again on the tab or on the “close” icon closes the plugin menu.
